These 2-5/8"-long Protec-Kote deck screws were specifically designed for use with 4/4 and 5/4 decking material, and work great with the Kreg Deck Jig. Protec-Kote features three anti-corrosion layers that are chemically-combined to provide strong protection against rust and corrosion in many common outdoor applications. Perfect for ACQ-treated lumber.

Pan Head Screws: The smaller head of Kreg’s Pan Head screws makes them the preferred choice for extremely hard woods and 1/2” stock. Pan Head screws also feature a smaller shank diameter which reduces the chance of your material splitting.

Coarse Thread: Coarse thread screws are the preferred choice for softwoods, such as Plywood, Particle Board, MDF, Melamine, Pine, Cedar, Fir, Spruce, Basswood, Butternut, Poplar, and Aspen.

This kit includes 100 Protec-Kote 2-5/8" deck screws.
