Introducing the first 16" x 32" oscillating open-ended drum sander on the market. JET’s 1632 Oscillating Drum Sander features an exclusive oscillating drumhead that produces a premium and effortless sanding finish. Switch to oscillating mode to experience the smooth, left-to-right oscillating drumhead. This effortless side-to-side motion while the drum is spinning prevents heat build-up on the sanding belt, reduces loading, and minimizes potential burning of sandpaper and wood. Plus, its patent- pending mirrored hood design extracts 97% of dust, optimizing dust collection and preventing chips from getting between your workpiece and the finish. Additional features include our innovative toolless parallelism system keeps adjustments simple, and the worktable is easily positioned by a turn of the parallelism dial. The Sandsmart™conveyer system continuously monitors the load on the drum motor to prevent an overload situation.
