Festool's exceptional sanders need the best paper available for optimal performance, and we have a complete line to choose from. You'll find Rubin 2, Billiant 2, Granat, Saphir, Cristal, Titan 2, Platin 2, Vlies and Granat shop rolls. Select your sander, than choose by abrasive type and grit. Rubin abrasives were designed for natural wood surfaces, wood composites and wood veneers. It can be used on hardwoods, soft woods, tropical woods and wood-based products. Brilliant 2 works well for paint, primers, fillers, lacquers and varnishes, and it has an anti-static coating that's compatible with products that are water based. Platin 2 was designed to bring out high gloss finishes. Titan 2 is coated on the backing with high-quality latex, increasing the abrasive's flexibility so it can be effective on contoured surfaces. Unlike Brilliant 2, Titan 2 is not for use on water-based finishes. Vlies can do deep pore cleaning on natural woods and veneers. It's also good for contours, and for cleaning and removing rust from metal. Cristal uses durable aluminum oxide as a flexible bonding material, making it ideal for fast removal.
