Designed specifically for the Powermatic 2014B, this 13" Bed Extension provides additional capacity while maintaining the stability and precision of the lathe’s cast iron platform. Constructed from heavy-duty cast iron, the extension increases the distance between centers from 20" to 33" when mounted level with the lathe bed—making it well-suited for longer spindle work and expanded project flexibility. For added versatility, the extension can also be mounted in a lower position to accommodate outboard turning. A post extender is included to raise the tool rest to centerline height when using the lowered mounted configuration, helping maintain proper tool control and positioning. Engineered for the 2014B, this bed extension is a practical way to expand turning capacity while preserving the smooth performance and compact footprint of the 2014B Lathe.
