Tormek T-4 Sharpening System
With the Tormek T-4 you get a high quality machine ideal for home and hobby work. You get access to the extensive Tormek jig system and can sharpen practically all common edge tools.
Tormek T-4 is an enhancement of the T-3 model taking the precision and stability to a completely new level. Vital functions like the motor and the main shaft are mounted in the zinc cast top, which also includes integrated sleeves for the Universal Support. This advanced design ensures an unbeatable precision for the Universal Support, which control all jigs and accessories.
Like the larger Tormek models, the T-4 is equipped with the Tormek Original Grindstone. It is optimized to combine efficient steel removal, smooth surface finish and a long life. With the included Stone Grader, you can alter the stone surface from 220 grit to about a 1000 grit surface, giving you two different sharpening qualities in one stone.
The T-4 is well suited for sharpening chisels, knives, scissors and smaller tools like carving tools. It also works with turning tools and drill bits, but for plane irons and molding knives, we recommend one of the larger Tormek machine models. Note that a few shapes of gouges cannot be honed with the SVD-186 Gouge Jig on the leather honing wheel due to the compact size of the Tormek T-4. These tools can be honed freehand instead.
The motor is rated for 30-minutes continuous use at a time. That is usually more than enough for the house need, but if you sharpen more, we advise you to take a look at one of the larger Tormek machine models, which can run continuously.
Tormek T-4 is delivered with the Stone Grader SP-650, the AngleMaster WM-200, Honing compound PA-70 and the Tormek Handbook on sharpening. Configure the T-4 with your choice of jigs according to the tools that you are to sharpen (sold separately).

With the sleeves for the Universal Support now being cast in the zinc top, together with the new Tormek stadium shaped design of the holes (patent pending) – the precision has been improved by 300% compared to the T-3.
The handle makes the machine easy to move and position. So you are not tempted to make the mistake and try to lift the machine with the Universal Support.
Vitals parts like the motor and the main shaft are integrated with the zinc cast top.
The machine plate is now made of metal, which makes a convenient place to store the Tormek AngleMaster (which has magnetic feet).

Jig for straight edges not included
Now you are able to configure your Tormek right from the start with the jigs that fit your sharpening needs. For example, if you only sharpen knives you will not have to pay for something you will not use.
Stone Grader included (because you need it)
Regardless of what tool you will sharpen, you will need it, so we decided to include it from the start. Make sure to use it and you will always have a fresh cutting stone. Also, with the Stone Grader, you get two different cutting actions (fast/fine) out of your grindstone!
How does the T-4 precision compare to the larger T-8 machine?
Thanks to the patented zinc cast machine head, we can achieve the same precision as with T-8.

Sharpen your knives
The HTK-1006 Hand Tool Kit includes all our jigs for sharpening the vast majority of knives in your home. This kit includes the KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig, which you can use to sharpen everything from regular kitchen knives to outdoor knives, even lawnmower blades. In a nutshell, a very versatile jig!
The kit also includes the KJ-140 Wide Centering Knife Jig. The wider clamp stabilizes the long and flexible blades of filleting knives, for example. This gives you an even bevel and angle along the entire blade, even on knives with flexible blades that are otherwise difficult to sharpen uniformly.
Also included is the SVM-00 Small Knife Holder to be used together with the KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig. These allow you to easily sharpen even your smallest knives.
Sharpening scissors, axes and other hand tools
Every household has at least one pair of scissors. And more often than not it's a blunt pair of scissors. With the included SC-60 Scissors Jig you easily make your scissors sharper than when they were new.
The AX-40 Axe Jig is a very simple and precise jig which allows you to sharpen all types of axes. It allows for sharpening a concave, flat, or convex bevel on axes with straight or rounded edges. No matter what the axe is used for, working with a sharp edge is both easier and safer.
The SVS-38 Short Tool Jig sharpens most short hand tools, from small carving chisels and gouges, to flathead screwdrivers and more.
Stylish and convenient storage
All jigs and accessories included come packaged in the TC-800 Tormek Case together with the HTK-00 Storage Tray for Hand Tool Kit. This specially designed packaging makes it easy to store and keep track of your jigs and accessories for sharpening tools at home or in your workshop. A stylish leather handle also makes the case easy to carry around.
The case is made of a durable material and has a sliding lid that keeps everything in place. The storage tray is made of EPP, a material that's highly durable and perfect for storing your jigs for many years to come. The TC-800 Tormek Case is stackable, so if you have another case, they can be stacked perfectly on top of each other.

Tormek Woodturner's Kit TNT-808
This kit contains everything you need to shape and sharpen all your turning tools, including two patented jigs (works like three!), a radiused leather honing wheel, a serious instruction and the appreciated Turning Tool Setter.
The jigs are packed in a tray, which works as a storage center. The tray can either be screwed to your wall or be used as a drawer liner.
