The self-tapping tapper point featuring a corkscrew start and blade cutting thread allow for fast starts and eliminate the need to pre-drill in wood, particle board, decking material, melamine and other similar substrates.

 

Are U2 Fasteners™ approved for ACQ-treated lumber?

U2 Fasteners™' proprietary U2 Gold coating consists of a multi-layered coating that is AC257 compliant for use in ACQ-treated lumber as well as ground-contact. 

 

Are U2 Fasteners™ better thank GRK or Spax?

U2 Fasteners™ are preferred by many pros due to their bits (U-Bits™) which are engineered to provide a snug, secure fit with the Tight Star Recess™ found on U2 Fasteners™ as well as their Self-tapping Tapper Point featuring a Corkscrew Start, Blade Cutting Thread, L-Cuts and the Bulge™.
