Countersink Bits combine a tapered drill bit and a countersink in one efficient tool. The replaceable tapered drill bit reduces the chance of wood splitting, along with securing the screw better with a hole that follows the contour of the screw – as opposed to a straight walled hole. During manufacturing, the tapered drill goes through many of the same precise manufacturing processes as our larger auger bits. The result is the quality you would expect from Woodowl - wobble-free, burr-free and a sharp point for on-target starts. Set screws allow for easy adjustments of the depth of the hole.
