Built for advanced woodworkers and production environments where the standard router just isn't enough, the SureSpeed™ Fixed-Base Router delivers sustained, professional-grade performance from the first pass to the last.

At the core is a 3¼ HP, 15-amp motor with a speed sensor that continuously measures and adjusts RPM to maintain consistent speed under load, even in hardwoods, raised panels, and large-profile bits that would bog down lighter routers. Combined with variable speed settings from 10,000 to 21,000 RPM and a soft-start motor for smooth engagement, the SureSpeed™ Fixed-Base Router gives you the control to match the tool to the material, every time.

The fine adjustment ring delivers 1/64" graduation for exact, repeatable depth settings; critical for production runs and detail work alike. The motor fits the largest setting of the Kreg Router Lift (PRS5000) for convenient above-table micro-adjustment, and the included guide bushing adapter opens the door to template routing, sign making, and inlay work.

The SureSpeed™ Fixed-Base Router is designed to work within the Kreg routing ecosystem and is compatible with Kreg Router Tables (PRS1045, PRS2100), the Kreg Router Lift (PRS5000), and Kreg Insert Plates, so you can move from freehand to table without changing your setup.
