The 8" Parallelogram Jointer delivers exceptional performance and value, packed with advanced features. Its helical cutterhead, featuring 54 four-sided knife inserts, ensures a superior finish and operates more quietly than conventional designs. Once installed, the inserts require no adjustment, providing added convenience.
The jointer's extra-long 82" bed offers excellent support for larger workpieces. It features an innovative single-handwheel system for easy fence adjustment, with positive stops at +/- 45° and 90°. A non-marring insert on the fence protects the table surface during adjustments, preventing scratches.
Designed with a parallelogram system, the table stays close to the cutterhead, improving the finish and allowing quick depth adjustments. This design also ensures the table remains perfectly parallel, even after years of heavy use.
Powered by a robust 2HP motor housed in a heavy-duty steel stand, this machine provides the power and stability needed for demanding tasks. While the helical cutterhead offers significant advantages in finish quality and noise reduction, this jointer is not intended for rabbeting. For projects requiring rabbeting, consider the straight knife version of this model.
